We were commissioned by the Royal Air Force's 101 Squadron
Association to make this stunning model of a World War II
Lancaster Bomber. It marked the 90th anniversary of 101
Squadron.
The plane is modelled in the flying
position, with undercarriage raised. The body and wings
are in a matt finish, with the cockpit and other glass
areas highly polished for contrast.
It has a
special large rear turret with two guns, and three large
aerials which were used to jam German radar during the
War.
It is 11 1/2 inches long (29 cm), and the
wingspan is 17 inches (43 cm).
We make the finest
models in the world - entirely by hand, in sterling
silver.
Doesn't YOUR plane deserve to be
immortalised in silver?
