A very pretty tiny Victorian silver chamberstick.
The base is plain, with six shaped sides, and the
handle is in the form of a scroll.
There is a
detachable nozzle (bobache), and a snuffer on the end of a
long chain.
This is a most attractive small
piece - a great miniature reproduction of larger
chambersticks.
Made in 1847 by Henry
Wilkinson & Co.
Length from back of handle to edge
of snuffer: 2 3/4 inches (7 cm) Height to top of
snuffer: 1 3/4 inches (4.5 cm)
