A very attractive set of four small George III silver
poultry skewers.
Each is totally plain, with a
tiny ring handle.
Condition is very good, and they
are slightly varying lengths, due to wear over the years.
Poultry skewers were always much smaller than
regular meat skewers, and they were also used for cooking
game birds.
Made in 1793 by Charles Aldridge
of London. Length: from 5 7/8 - 6 1/4 inches (15 - 16
cm)
