A very good set of four Edwardian silver salt cellars.
Each is oval, with pointed ends (often referred to
as 'boat-shaped'), standing on a square pedestal base.
Each has two large loop handles. The insides are gilded.
They are particularly heavy, and have been hammered
and shaped by hand. Because of this, there are slight
variations in length and width.
Made in 1904 by
Hawksworth Eyre of London. Length (handle - handle): 6
1/2 inches (16.5 cm)
