A very unusual set of four Victorian silver-gilt [gold-
washed] serving spoons (three showing in this picture).
The handles each feature a splendid cast figurine
of an English nobleman in full military dress, holding a
sword.
The rest of the handles are twisted with
floral decoration.
They are in the original fitted
case.
Made in 1877/79/83 by Holland, Aldwinckle &
Slater of London.
