A very high quality four piece silver tea and coffee
service, comprising teapot, coffee pot, milk/cream jug and
covered sugar bowl.
Each piece is round, and
plain; with subtle and delicate 'cut-card' leaf decoration
around the spouts and lids.
The handles and
finials of the teapot and coffee pot are made from ivory.
Made in 1963-7 by Garrard & Co of London -- the
Crown Jewellers. We normally do not buy much silver
from the 1960s, but the quality and weight of this service
made it irresistible. This is a reproduction of a Georgian
design.
