A very attractive oval Victorian silver teapot – a perfect gift for somebody who likes their tea.

The plain body is decorated with two lovely friezes of brightcut engraving; as well as two empty leaf and shield cartouches.

The plain lid has a flush hinge.

The teapot has an ebonised wooden handle and finial.

This is a lovely Victorian reproduction of a design (including the specialised engraving) that was very popular in English silver from the 1790s.

This beautiful oval Victorian silver teapot was made in 1886 by John Henry Shaw of London.

Height to top of handle: 5 1/4 inches (13.3 cm)
