A lovely long narrow 'Art Deco' silver sandwich tray.

It is shaped oval, with a moulded thread border and two shaped handles.

It does not have any feet – therefore it stands flat on the table, and is a very practical size. It was originally made to serve sandwiches – hence the name – but it can be used for all sorts of food ands drink.

This elegant ‘Art Deco’ silver sandwich tray was made in 1940 by Barker Bros of Birmingham.
