A very good pair of modern silver candlesticks in the form of Graeco-Roman corinthian columns.

They have square bases in the form of steps with large bead mounts, and detachable square silver nozzles (bobaches).

This ‘corinthian’ design was originally made around 1770, and excellent silver reproductions have been produced since Victorian times to this day. This is one of the most popular styles of candlesticks that we sell, and they are a good size for standing in the centre of a table in the dining-room.

This fine pair of corinthian column silver candlesticks was made in 1975 by Roberts and Dore of London.
