A good small oval Victorian silver cream jug.

It is 'helmet-shaped' with a wavy-edge border. It has a shaped half-handle, and stands on a plain oval pedestal base.

This is a very high standard reproduction of a Georgian cream jug, and it is a particularly good weight for its size. It was made by a pair of excellent silversmiths, whose work was always of the highest quality.

This fine Victorian 'helmet-shaped' silver cream jug was made in 1875 by Henry Lias & Son of London.
