Victorian Silver Snuff Box with Hunting Scene 1841 - Recently Sold

A lovely Victorian silver snuff box, the lid decorated with a hunting scene in relief.

It shows a hunter holding a rifle, followed by hounds, about to climb over a fence into woodland.

It has a cast thumbpiece which is decorated with leaves and flowers. The silver snuff box is gilded (gold-washed) inside.

Made in 1841 by Neustadt and Barnett of Birmingham.
