Silver Model of a Desert Rat

After the First Gulf War of 1990/1, we made a large number of sterling silver models of the famous 'Desert Rat'. This was the nickname originally given to the 7th Armoured Division of the British Army which fought in North Africa during World War II.

The First Gulf War was officially known as 'Operation Granby' in the British Army; and the 7th Armoured Brigade was once again referred to the 'Desert Rats'.  We made our silver models to commemorate the Coalition victory in this campaign.

The Rat is 3 1/4 inches high (8.5 cm).

We can model anything to any scale in sterling silver. All we need are plans and photographs.
