Silver Model of the Alon Aircoup with Street Lamp

A beautiful and highly original handmade sterling silver model of a 1965 Alon Aircoupe aeroplane.

We made this silver model of a client's private plane. The body is in a matt finish, with the windows highly polished in contrast to resemble glass.  

We engraved the registration number on the fuselage, and the plane's nickname 'Buttercup' near the cockpit.  The silver model measures 5 1/2  inches (14 cm) long, with a wing-span of 7 1/2 inches (19 cm).

As an extra touch, we were commissioned to make a vintage silver street lamp that hangs over the silver Alon Aircoupe.  It is wired for battery power, and therefore lights up the silver plane when switched on.

It is all mounted on a black wooden plinth.
