Refurbished Original Silver-Plated Beef Carving Trolleys
FOR SALE - SUPERB ORIGINAL MAHOGANY AND SILVER- PLATE BEEF CARVING TROLLEY MADE BY CHRISTOFLE OF PARIS
A fantastic oblong beef carving trolley, with a mahogany frame, four shaped mahogany legs and a mahogany shelf at the bottom, made by Christofle of Paris.
With a rotating silver-plated dome cover, holes for the steam to escape, and a fastening lock.
The dome cover is engraved with a motif.
With a detachable oblong silver-plated water tank, with screw-open knob for filling and a vapour escape. The water tank has two recesses in which stand two small round silver-plated bowls [for gravy, vegetables, etc].
With a detachable aluminium carving board.
With a single round detachable silver- plated burner underneath.
With a hinged round silver-plated and wood plate holder at one end.
With two silver-plated handles, one on each side of the body.
With a fixed silver- plated oblong knife tray hanging from the carving side.
With two identical oblong silver-plated plaques (one on each side), each engraved: ORFEVRERIE Christofle PARIS FRANCE .
Standing on four original wheels.

This is a marvellous meat carving trolley, in excellent condition. It was hardly ever used, so we have not had to replate the silver or repolish the wood.
