This is your chance to order a magnificent service of new English hand-forged silver-gilt flatware, made to the highest standards in the world. It's not made by machine -- instead, our craftsmen carefully hammer each piece into shape entirely by hand. It takes much longer, but the quality shines through.
Chased and Pierced Vine pattern is one of the most extraordinary silver flatware designs in the world, and is known as the 'King of Patterns'.
This silver flatware pattern was first produced for the Great Exhibition of 1851.
Each piece is individually hand-forged, and then very carefully pierced and chased by hand in the shape of interwoven grapes and vines. Then it is all gilded [gold-washed] and highly polished to create a spectacular golden aura.
This incredible silver-gilt flatware is exceptionally heavy, and brings the height of luxury to your dining-room.
Chased and Pierced Vine pattern is also available just in silver (without the gold wash), and we have created a separate price list in silver.
If you wish, we can also engrave your monogram, initials, crest or coat of arms on the back of each handle (there is a small plain shield which is perfect for engraving).
