JUST SOLD TO A CLIENT IN THE MIDDLE EAST ... 

... a superb fully restored wood and silver-plate beef carving trolley, made c1960/1970 by Drakes of London.

With a rotating oval silver-plated dome cover, holes for the steam to escape, and a fastening lock.

With a detachable oval silver-plated water tank, which has a screw-open knob for filling with a built in steam escape and a further steam escape at the other end. With a recess around the border for juice and gravy, and two detachable silver-plated pots for vegetables, Yorkshire pudding or gravy.

With two mahogany shelves.

With a detachable handmade wooden [American oak] carving board which fits snugly onto the top of the water tank.

With two round detachable silver-plated burners underneath.

With a detachable round silver-plated plate holder at one end and a fixed silver-plated handle at the other end.

With a fixed silver-plated oblong knife tray on the carving side.

With an original silver-plated plaque under the handle reading:

With shaped wooden legs on four wheels.
