1934 Octagonal Silver Sugar Shaker

A very attractive octagonal silver sugar shaker with a detachable lid.

The body is plain and bellied, and divided into eight panels.  The lid is pierced in geomteric shapes, and it stands on a plain octagonal base

This is a great size -- very tall – and the piece feels very heavy in the hand. Octagonal designs are always very popular, and this would make an ideal gift for a family. It has been made to a particularly high quality.
