Edwardian Silver and Crystal Claret Jug 1902

An Edwardian silver and crystal claret jug.

The crystal is round and bellied with diamond-shaped cutting and a star base.

It has a plain silver mount, with a plain hinged lid and thumbpiece. The shaped silver handle is also plain.

This is a lovely jug, and the crystal makes it very heavy. It would make the perfect gift for somebody who likes plain pieces. It would go very nicely with today's contemporary minimalistic styles.

This fine Edwardian silver and crystal claret jug was made in 1902 by Mappin and Webb.
