Edwardian Silver Mustard Pot 1904

An unusual Edwardian silver mustard pot.

The body is round, straight-sided and plain; and it is pierced with three 'peacocks', each with their feathers unopened on the ground behind them. It has a plain loop handle with a thumbpiece in the shape of a straight claw.

The hinged lid is also completely plain.

I suppose the most distinguishing features of this mustard pot are the peacocks, which really add elegance to the piece. What a great gift this would be for anyone who likes exotic birds!

This unusual Edwardian silver mustard pot was made in 1904 by William Haseler of Birmingham.
