*Irish* - Antique Cork Plain Silver Soup Ladle

A lovely antique Cork plain silver soup ladle.

The handle is in the Old Irish point pattern, and it turns down at the end. It is engraved with a large contemporary double-headed bird crest. The bowl is round and completely plain.

This is a beautiful Irish provincial silver soup ladle. It has been made from a very good gauge of silver. It is clearly stamped on the back with the maker's mark GIBSON and STERLING. A separate close-up picture showing the silver hallmarks can be emailed on request.

This elegant antique Cork silver soup ladle was made c1790 by Joseph Gibson.
