Large Oval Silver Tray

A beautiful large oval silver tray.

The border is composed of tiny beads, and it has two handles cut inside the edge. It does not have any feet, and sits flat on the table. The tray is completely plain.

This is a superb tray, and the plain minimalistic look is in keeping with today's fashions. The bead border is very fine, and the gallery around the sides is raised at either end to allow room for the handles. It is a very good weight and feels very heavy in the hand. The tray could comfortably hold a four-piece tea and coffee service.
