This is a marvellous stone, which refracts the light in a number of different colours, which keep on changing.  As such, it is very hard to depict this on a single still photograph, but we tried our best.  The cufflinks are very smart, and would look perfect on most shirts. The octagonal design is a welcome alternative to the oval and oblong.  And because this pair is double-sided and linked by a silver chain, there is something of 'interest' on each side.
