Set of Twelve Silver Grapefruit Spoons

A lovely set of twelve silver grapefruit spoons [three are shown in the above photograph].

They are a good length, with exceptionally long shaped and pointed bowls - which have been lightly gilded (gold-washed) in the traditional style. The handles have raised zig-zag decoration around the sides. They come in the original fitted case.

This is a very good set, and the bowls are particularly long. They have sharp points and edges to cut into the grapefruit. It is good to have the original case which has kept them safely over the years.

This set of twelve silver grapefruit spoons was made in 1933-7 by R.F. Mosley.
