Silver Condiment Set 1937

A lovely silver condiment set, comprising salt cellar, pepper shaker and mustard pot.

Each piece is shaped oval, with wrigglework engraving and friezes of pierced scrolls. With a pierced leaf motif in the centre.

The salt cellar stands on four plain feet. The pepper shaker has a detachable pierced lid. The mustard pot has a plain scroll handle and shaped hinged lid. Each piece has a blue glass liner inside.

This is a very pretty set in the George III style of the 1790s. You can see larger teasets in this pattern from that period. It's quite unusual to see a condiment set in this pattern. It would make a great gift.

This lovely silver condiment set was made in 1937 by George F. Lowe of Chester.
