Silver Model of a Java Campaign Centerpiece
A superb detailed sterling silver scale model of a scene to commemorate the British Army's Java Campaign in 1811.
A gun nestles between two palm trees, in a dug-out protected by sandbags. Two gunners are preparing to fire the next round.
It is all mounted on a specially- designed polished black wood plinth with extra decoration, and was made for a British Army regiment to display as a silver table centerpiece during ceremonial dinners.
We can make any scene or building precisely to scale in sterling silver.
