Victorian Silver 'Sherry' Wine Label 1845

A very good Victorian silver wine label, pierced with 'SHERRY'.

It is rectangular and plain, with a curved thread border. It is engraved with a small contemporary crest, and has a small silver chain at the back.

This is a very smart wine label made by a partnership of two of London’s most interesting Victorian silversmiths. Wine labels make excellent gifts, and they were designed to be hung round the top of a bottle or crystal decanter.

This fine Victorian silver Sherry wine label was made in 1845 by Charles Reily and George Storer of London.
