Victorian Silver 'Sherry' Wine Label 1853

A very attractive Victorian silver wine label, pierced with the word 'SHERRY'

It is in the form of a large leaf, which is highly textured and beautifully chased by hand.

This is a very pretty and delicate piece from a very good silversmith. Wine labels are very popular and traditional gifts, and this was designed to hang round the neck of a bottle or a glass decanter.

This lovely Victorian silver 'Sherry' wine label was made in 1853 by George Unite of Birmingham.
