Victorian Small Silver Chamberstick

A very pretty, Victorian small silver chamberstick.

It is completely plain with a round base and a simple thread border. There is a thumbpiece on one side with a loop for a forefinger, and a detachable nozzle (bobache).

The design is simple but very elegant. This is a small piece that would make a great gift for somebody who likes plain rather than decorative silverware. It would be most suitable for a taperstick candle, which is much narrower than a regular one.

This lovely Victorian small silver chamberstick was made in 1895 by Joshua Vander of London.
